Saturday Summary 3

This week involved a lot of school time.  I spent four hours Monday working registration, an hour on Tuesday in a meeting with my team, and four hours Tuesday working registration (again).  I was also in and out of my classroom working on finishing touches before school starts on Wednesday.  Unfortunately, we still don’t have our finalized lists, so my project list still has plenty on it.  I guess that is what the teacher work day on Tuesday is for! (That and TONS of meetings of course).

On the Blog, this is what’s been happening:

Sunday: MyClassroom Library

Monday: MondayMade It – READ

Wednesday: MathRules

Thursday: StudentTeaching

Friday: TeacherBinder

Saturday Summary 2

It’s Saturday and time for another Saturday Summary!

This week was pretty tame.  I spent some time in the classroom, but most of my time was spent relaxing and enjoying my last full week of vacation.  Next week, I’ll be working registration two days and spending a lot of time putting finishing touches on the classroom before school starts the following week.  One highlight of my week was the Summer Recess I had for my class from last year.  It was so nice to see all of my kids again!

So…here’s the blog summary:

Monday – Monday Made It – Specials Signs

Tuesday – Summer Recess (Part 2)

Wednesday – No blogging today – I was sick and didn’t have anything scheduled

Thursday – Why Jo-Ann’s is Amazing

Friday – August “Currently”

Saturday Summary

Today’s post is a new feature I’d like to start on my blog.  It’s called the Saturday Summary and is designed to let bloggers get to know each other and to highlight things that have been on their blogs throughout the week.  As part of the Saturday Summary, you can link to all of the week’s blog posts, but also share what you’ve been up to outside the classroom so we can get a peek into the lives of the bloggers we follow.

So, my week’s summary was pretty fun:

Last Saturday, I got to see America live as a part of my town’s summer festival!  It was a super fun concert!

Then on Sunday, Plain White Tees performed at a shopping center in my town! (Didn’t get a good picture of them though)

This week, I attended a 31 party (and ordered a really cute new bag), hosted a Pampered Chef party, and worked in the classroom.

On the Blog:

Monday: MondayMade It

Tuesday: BookTalks (and a Freebie!)

Wednesday: BookGenre Posters AND Social Media

Thursday: SettingUp the Classroom Part 1

Friday: SummerRecess
